Definitely the stem.. that thing is noodly. I think it's supposed to be that way. There doesn't seem to be any creaking or cracking going on. You can visibly watch the stem flex.

Does anyone have any ride experience with Critical stems. I just installed on on my resto project and it seems extremely flexy. Is this safe?
