Looking at s bike on ebay which has blue shimano xt spd fitted. These are 25 anniversary pedals. Now i can remember when shimano spd first came out, makes me feel a tad old :(

I can guess the answer but will ask anyway. Im looking to repaint a pair of spd pedals. These are like shimano so have a pair of springs each side. I imagine even at lowest tension setting there still is considerable tension making it dangerous to take apart.... not to mention parts go pingig...

Got 2 speed chainset 38/24 t and want to go single 32t. Just bought 32 t ring that has same bcd as 38 t, any reason why it wont work or do i need to use/make spacers to make it sit more to the middle? Or was i better off finding 32t to replace the 24t?

I'm just wondering why there are no cheap but not nasty chinese carbon chainsets? There are plenty of cheap chinese carbon frames (26, 29, fs), forks, seatposts, bars, saddles and rims but as yet not seen chainsets. ????!??
