    SPD disassembly/reassembly

I can guess the answer but will ask anyway. Im looking to repaint a pair of spd pedals. These are like shimano so have a pair of springs each side. I imagine even at lowest tension setting there still is considerable tension making it dangerous to take apart.... not to mention parts go pingig...

    hybrid ceramic bearings?

Anyone used them? Apart from being lighter, lower resistance and being able to operate at higher rpm, the last 2 features not relevant, they are supposed to be longer lasting, any body verify that? Replacing bearings in wheel hubs and frames is a faff.

would you pay to see a Porsche 911 bought and tested?

I've known about the existence of Porsche 911 for a few years now, and I've been thinking of buying one myself. One idea I've been pondering is whether there is interest in the MTB community for a crowdfunded project where somebody (me) goes and buys the most competitive Porsche 911 possible...

    Bloody hell, I'm rather...

...annoyed with yet another BB standard. This time its Cannondale si hollowgram. Crank accepts ye olde puller but there is nothing for it to push against, being BB30 hollow axle. Cost me 6p so far as although a 1p and 5p coin both fit, they just bend. Looks like either need the...
