    Vintage Raleigh Ladies Bike

Not a mountain bike, but my mate's son is selling this bike for his grandmother. It's an old Raleigh which they believe to be from the 1940's. I promised to stick it on here for him. 8) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120971480630? ... 1555.l2649

    WTD Bolts: M8 x 25 with 11mm head - Sorted

I'm desperately trying to source four bolts for a BMX stem (also posted in BMX section). M8 x 25 with a 1.25 pitch and an 11mm head. It's the size of the head that's causing me a headache, I have four bolts with a 13mm head which I can grind down, but I'm trying to find the correct size...

    Need a BMX expert :)

If any resident BMX expert on here has a moment to spare, would you consider dropping your number on a PM to me? I need a little BMX 'restoration' advice that would be easier to talk through. Many thanks. Nick

    WTD - BMX!

I have a post in the BMX section too, but thought here is a little busier. A friends son is looking for a full size BMX to do up and tinker with. He has a budget of around £50, although will likely stretch to a little more (with help) for the right bike. Doesn't have to be retro, but would be...

£50 budget for a BMX to do up?

A friends son is looking for a BMX to do up, but only has a budget of £50. I know this isn't much to the BMX enthusiasts, but if anybody sees anything going local that might be suitable, please let me know. Tatty is OK, as long as the chassis is solid. I don't know anything about BMX's, but...

    98 Manitou/Answer Xvert - service help required :(

Does anybody here have the ability to service a set of Xverts? I'm going to service my brothers little used Mantra Comp for his Birthday in April, but the elastomers in the fork are like toasted marshmallow and I really don't know anything about suspension fork internals from any generation! Any...

New project - Klein Mantra Comp

Just took delivery of my Brothers Klein Mantra Comp, with a view to cleaning it up for his birthday in April. First impressions are good, he's owned it since new and hardly used it. A general clean and polish and some new cables will see it running, but there seems to be little movement in the...

    Cannondale question - Fulcrum

What was the model name of the Cannondale DH bike that had a load of gearing/cogs/chains around the bottom bracket? I think it was being run by the sponsored riders for a season around the late 90's. The bikes looked as though they weighed a ton. EDIT: I think it was the Fulcrum from 1998.

    Was Srands scared off?

Despite my general annoyance with Srands, he was 'our' annoyance. Has he been banished from inane ramblings, or merely scared off posting? I miss his posts.

    £150 hard tail

OK so the budget is limited, but the eyes are large. What can realistically be bought as a decent £150 hard tail? Something to have fun on but which also ticks the 'aesthetically pleasing' box (V's a minimum)? 18" just in case somebody is looking to get rid of a peach for bugger all monies...

    Trek/Klien disc adaptor

A new overseas RB member contacted me by PM to ask if I still had my old Trek disc adaptor for sale, I didn't and passed on information to where they could purchase one in the UK. The RB member consequently struggled to get a reply from the UK shop, so I contacted the shop myself and placed an...
