    10 pcs 1.5-10mm Hex set - CR-V, ball end - £3.99 @ Lidl

Same, more allen keys than spokes on my bikes now probably! This set is definitely best bang for the buck though (minus the plastic parts)

    Marin Geometry / Nuances 1991 - 1996

my '95 Pine Mountain 19" (BB to centre of top tube) is currently runing 2.0 Conti Race Kings but in a past version of itself I had 2.4 Maxxis Holy Rollers on. 2.4 is the ABSOLUTE max you can fit on the rear, as even then it only gives 2-3 mm tyre clearance on the chain stays, but more on the...

BoTM BotM September 2021 - nominations

Thanks! No it's a DyedBro 'SpaceTrip' vinyl frame protection kit. As the bike is Spray.Bike'd I wasn't sure how well the paint would last with stone chips etc so probably went overboard and wrapped all the main risk areas, but I love the end result

Difference between Ritchey Vantage and Rock rims

I have a Vantage Pro rear / Vantage Comp front set, and I have a OCR Pro rear and Rock Pro front set. Apart from the above comments, I can add this - the OCR and Rock have spoke eyelets whereas the Vantage don't. Also the rim sticker on the Rock Pro says 'Triple Box Construction' and I imagine...

    Wanted Titec seatpost - 27.0m

Yes, it's definitely a Titec 27.0mm. I had one in mine I had to replace due to a crack where the top of the post meets the seat rails. I believe this may be common (??) as it's the second time I've had one crack there.

The MTB Introduce Yourself Here Thread V

Hi, long time ad hoc reader here but only today registered. Got into mountain biking when in my teens in the early 90's like a lot of us here no doubt, and have sporadically had periods with not much riding, but now fully back into it again and doing some resto mods. MTB history - 1990 20"...
