XTR M950 Front Derailleur?

I'm thinking about sourcing an FD-950 bottom pull front derailleur for a current build to match the rear M950. I guess I never paid this FD much attention before. Low clamp design similar to the FD-M739, but really unusual design with the cage I'm noticing. The cage has pivots and a return spring, etc. Looks pretty cool now that I'm finally giving it a look.

I have to assume since it's XTR that it's premium kit right? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated 👍

Well I went ahead and placed the order, found a couple reviews. It's 2nd generation XTR so must work excellent I'm sure. I always like a front & rear mech to match.

Reviews pointed out that the cage pivots really improve shifting compared to the standard fixed cage which is guided by external pivots. I'm curious to find out now, I wonder why Shimano when back to the fixed cage design though. I'll report back if anyone has an interest
