VGC 1997 GT LTS-1

Retro Newbie
For sale Is my much loved GT LTS 1 from 1997.
If you're viewing this I probably don't need to tell you how great these bikes are and how good they were back in their day.
I have owned this since it was new and I still have all the owners manual's for the new owner to take with the bike.
This has been a fantastic bike and been maintained to a high standard.
The condition in general is excellent, sure there’s a few scratches, a bit of cable rub/chain slap and a very small dent in the top tub (I only noticed it today when giving the frame a thorough check over for cracks/damage etc.) but nothing that affects the strength and functionality of the bike.
If you have a good look at the welding on the joins it is a work of art!
The Frame is probably classed as a large, in measures 19in from middle of bottom bracket to the top of the top tube, or 20in to the top of the seat tube. I am 6ft and fits me fine but the seat post extended a fair amount.

The bike has had a full strip down service and the following replaced:

All cables replace with Jag Wire cable kits for brakes and gears
New noodles and boots
New Sram PC830 power link chain
New Rear spring
New top Shocker bushes

Everything else has been fully stripped, cleaned and greased. All the suspension bushes are in good order with no play.
There is a small amount of play in the crank bearing but nothing noticeable when riding and its still very smooth and quiet. The only other thing to note is that the Rock Shox Judy XC forks have seen better days, with these being original and made with elastomer’s they don't have much movement now and the paint work on the fork is cracking, chipped and corroding.
Replacing the forks would turn this bike into literally a new bike

Otherwise it is in full working order including the Rock Shox Deluxe rear shock rebound and bounce adjustments.

The full spec is as follows

Regarding price, what I would like and what someone is prepared to pay for a nice retro bike like this is another matter ;) . I'd like something in the region of £400 but I am open to offers.
