US MTB Hall of Fame is moving to Fairfax

The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame currently located in Crested Butte, Colorado, will be moving to California, according to press reports, citing Joe Breeze, Marc Vendetti and Otis Guy as the source. The new home will be in Fairfax, a town long identified with the history of the sport.

Since the MBHoF is heavily North America-centric, this news may be less than exciting to mountain bikers in the UK, but it is going to be a pretty big deal in Fairfax (population @ 7500), which is much smaller than the UK and boasts a half-dozen inductees.
