Trek OCLV USPS Road Bike 54cm
So the time has come to part with one of my road bike collection to make way for another incoming.
This is a 2003 Trek USPS Full Carbon Ultegra/105 Road bike.
I've owned this for around 5 years and in that time it's done 347 - data from Strava.
Frame is Silver/Blue Metallic pearl and still pops in the sunlight.
There are a few chips here and there, two worse ones are shown in the photos. This is a really really clean example.
I fully stripped and rebuilt this in 2015/16 - some of the original Ultegra 6500 parts were shot and have been replaced with modern 105 - Shifters, Rear and Front Mechs. In my view, its a perfect mix of classic and new mod and rides as well as any of my other bikes.
It still has the original 6500 period chainset, original Blue Anodised Bontrager Race Lite rims (rocking horse) and hubs (new bearings in both) original 6500 Calipers. All the cables - internal and external are new. Full spec is as below, but feel free to message me if you need any other details. There's some really nice parts on this. Collection only, i will travel within 30 miles of Birmingham to meet buyer but not really wanting to post unless you're another collector etc and we may be able to sort something.
