Tiny 1999 Kona Explosif

Bought this as a frame and fork, resprayed, new decals, built up as a whizzy kids' bike - it's a 14in frame. Been through two children and now surplus. A bit of a mixed build, it was done as a rider (and has been ridden a fair bit). The Avid brakes (Single Digit Ti and Speed Dial Ti) and XT M750 shifters/hubs are vaguely period, the cranks and some other bits are more modern (needed 165s...). Wheels are handbuilt with Mavic 717 rims, alternating black/silver spokes and multicoloured nipples, because that's what the eldest child wanted

Great bike to learn on. Since it's non-original as well, it's very hard to put a price on. For the right rider, perhaps £250? They are great frames.
