Sunbeam gents all black model?

Grampsbike

Retro Newbie
I have got out of my shed my Grampy’s old Sunbeam bike to try and get it useable but the back wheel is missing. It’s a 2 speed with rod brakes so what wheel do I need to try and source Front wheel is 27 x 1 1/2 and needs re spoked.
The pedal gearing system has come apart
Any advice would be very useful

Wheels are most likely 28 x 1 1/2, re-spoking is easy if the rim is OK.
If the 2 speed is in the chainwheel do not lose any parts, it may be possible to rebuild it.
clear close up pictures are required please.

Here are some shots so hopefully readers will help to identify the model and age and the wheel size is 26” x 11/2” Please can you advise as to what type of rear wheel I require

Wheel size is very rare. We saw very few of these even in 1950s, BSA used them on a juvenile bike late 30s. You might have to settle for 26 x 1 3/8.

The rear hub would have been single sided with probably 18 t freewheel.
There may be other places you could search for details, I am not an expert, just relying on what I can remember.

A few ago I could of suppled the rims . Had some nice wheels with alloy 26 x 1 1/4 rims . Also some Dunlop chrome ones .
If you are after 26 x 1x 1/4 let me know and I will ask a few hoarders that I know .
