well, how to get started? i don't know who once build this frame + matching straight forks. just had to have it once i had seen it. long story short, i like it a lot (especially the tire clearance), but i'm to tall for this set. presumably this frame set dates back to the 80ies, but possibly early 90ies. there's quite an amount of paint damages, but no dent. bottom brake makes it look very clean. is it the most exquisite piece you're ever seen? guess no. is it something you never saw before. perhaps yes! so it was for me. the only hint so far regarding the origin of this frame came from some guy in the german classic bike forum, who named a brand called RMS (Raid Mountain Star) from the region of alsace. he also said they had 2 models, this is the triple triangle version and he also own's two of these bikes. no proof, just a possibility i'd say. all threads are good, matching seatpost (kalin) included, bsa bb, 1" headset required, 56cm top tube (c-c) and 56cm seat tube (c-top). the sticker tell it's made from double butted vitus rocky tubes and it's handmade. asking 300€ plus shipping, can also include a u-brake for not too much money. not so sure about the value, since i don't have anything to compare it to. i also like swap deals, i currently look for a silver Ø27,2mm | 330mm syncros seat post, a single left black 170mm fc-m730 crank arm to match my lonely right one and a grey mavic m281 cd 36° rim for my lonely one.
