Raleigh Team Panisonic Replica 531c

Hi there - having been an avid Retrobike reader for a couple of years now, have only very recently gotten around to signing up.....'hello!'

Latest edition to the shed (purchased & enroute) is to be a 1984 531c Raleigh Team Replica frame & forks with 'shot in' seat stays.
Latest dilemma......in the same shed is a 1984 501 Raleigh Corsa frame & forks, with very tidy Golden Arrow groupset, which I have done nothing with.
Would the Golden Arrow be a suitable groupset to transfer across to the 531, or should I be holding out for something a bit more special ?

Campag nuovo & super record very pretty, but also very expensive.
Also liking 600ax/6300 and 600 ultegra/tricolour/6400....

Any help/advice in recommending a suitable groupset or combo very much appreciated.

You don't have to follow what every Raleigh had fitted to it from new!

Yip, beginning to think along those lines.

Would be very interested to know how the Golden Arrow (which I have) and the 600 Ultegra (which I like) groupsets are rated here on Retrobike......??
