Been riding this one so long we're practically married, coming up for our 21st anniversary this Easter.
the memories... several years tooling around the Purbecks - ferry -> Old Harry's -> Obelisk -> 9 Barrow Down -> pastie from Corfe bakery -> back up onto the hill -> golf course -> Frank's Tank -> Studland -> ferry
Done Strata Florida -> Tywi Track -> Abergwesyn -> Claerwen -> Teifi Pools -> Strata Florida loop -- bit of a newb, went solo with no food (thought there was probably a siop in Abergwesyn lol, t shirt and shorts and it hailed, soaked on the Tywi Track, bonked hard, puncture, savage sheep dogs at the final farm, one of those rides that felt like the best and worst day of your life at the same time..
These days we pootle round the north downs in our dotage. Original rear wheel, front hub (Hope - bombproof, no maintenance ever), brakes (pretty sketchy tbh but we still manage to stop) and shifters
Been over the bars a few times in the early days, 90s angles and high seat vs low bars means there's never a dull moment... hope she keeps going another 21!
