Bought one in 1987, my first mountain bike (although more like a citybike), some years after I upgraded with a stumpjumper... and never seen another one for the rest of my life (mine was white, exactly like the one being sold in Norfolk)

And now I remember, it was love at first sight, but after a while the comparison with the MTB bought by my friends shortlyafter got me disaffected: the steel wasn't Tange if I remember well, the geometry not so gritty, the colour not so fashionable like the flashy green or fuchsia on the other bikes ... well, I was young and stupid.
