My Cortina DH8 - Now for sale!!

Ian j77

Retro Newbie
Recently had a tidy out in my folks garage and dug out my old Downhill Rig, (has been sat in there for 10 years gathering dust) ..... It is a true testiment to the build that I put together all those years ago. After a quick wipe down to get rid of the dust and rubbish, bit of air in the tyres and she is ready to rock!

1999 Cortina DH8 Frame, (9mm through axle)
Rockshox Boxxer world cup, (20mm through axle)
Manitou Bazooka Big Shaft rear Shock
Hope Bulb Hubs front and rear built into Mavic 321 rims
Hope DH4 4pot calipers F&R 185 front rotor, 165 rear rotor.
Azonic Shorty Stem
Azonic bars
Yeti pro Lock on grips
24 Seven steel crankset
MRP chain device
DMR V12 pedals
XT short arm rear mech
XT gear shifter
I don't think I ever really did this bike justice and I am certain that I am not about to start throwing myself down any more hills let alone mountains ......

So I have decided it is time to let this go to a new home …. It is on everyone’s favourite auction site at the moment, I am looking for around £1300 Ono if you are interested message me.

 always wanted to try one.

Not sure on value, i would say around the £1000 mark as older DH bikes are in demand.
