Gazelle Champion Mondial AA team Vredestein/Campagnolo

I'm really surprised that this one hasn't gone yet as a cracking frame in superb condition.

Perhaps the size limits it but even then would have thought that it would be perfect for the tall, discerning gentleman.

I agree
unfortunately I belong to the not so tall ones
hopefully discerning gentlemen but that is not for me to say ;)

Yep, the size is part of the reason perhaps. Not so many 64cm frame people around, but dito for frames on the other hand.

Another reason can be that you can have a mediocre condition AB-frame for half the money. Years ago, when I sold a Champion Mondial, all CM's were pretty exotic curiousities. Since a year or 2 I see sometimes fine examples popping up on various forums, but the frame buying people are flooded with mediocre shape AB-frames and alike. I wonder whether many have any clue what the difference is between an AA, AA-Special, AA-Super, AB or whatever. An AA in this livery, shape, with chrome, plugs (add up to that the top notch pics and the hour I spend on the packing job for a frame alone), maybe sets a buyer back two times more, but considering that is still only 135 more it would for me be a complete no brainer if I faced the decission. But who am I.

It will find a new happy owner. I am sure of that.

Nothing wrong with an AB btw, but it is not an AA.
