I came into these lovely cranks and upon researching I'm realizing info on the steel version is scant. I can't so much as find a pic of another nickel plated one. Does anyone know what purpose the steel ones were intended for (DH for extra strength?) and why they're so much more rare than the alloy ones? (yes they're steel and not ti despite how much the finish looks like it)
