Ive had this bike a few years and tried to bring it back a little like the original as seen in the catalogue. Ive enjoyed riding it, using other wheels, to save these, but now have another retro Dawes in much yellowness to play with.

Like a GT, you get an extra triangle. At a time when most things new were sprouting suspension they were a bit of a breath of fresh air for a rigid frame.

I've always thought the continuous curve from top tube into seat stays was beautiful on those frames.

I like the frame but the coloured kit is a bit much. Appreciate it came like that but I think it would look better with some toned down kit fitted.

^^^ what he said. They are so ridiculous, I love them. I think I'd hate the ride, but the colours, the components...a big tick for me. There's something Merlin Newsboy about them.
