Can anyone help with identification?

I have an 80's Kotter's racing team bike and am trying to get any history information on it. Stamped on the rear drop outs are GIPIEMME , which I know is the Italian manufacturer of the dropouts but also stamped on the piece between the seat stays where the brakes attach is another GIPIEMME stamp and the winged bird. Above the winged bird in capitals is MOO. The central O is larger - anyone any ideas what the MOO stands for or means? Initials of the blacksmith perhaps. Perhaps this can become a sticky thread? Being able to reach out to experts for identification of various bikes/frames/components is a great feature on a forum like this, and a dedicated thread would save a lot of space. Anyway, does anyone know the model and possibly even year of this Univega? The crankset looks fairly low end to me, but that's far from an expert opinion:
