Been toying for 4 years as to whether i should let these go or not....but i think as the purge continues it may be time.

They came from Bucks in ipswich clearout in the 90s along with a fair few other goodies I've now released i to the wild.😂

It looks like the cable kit was nicked and then as it was missing, never got sold. I can't see they have been overly used, if at all....but i can't be sure.....maybe they were taken off a bike in a swap out....who knows.

The shifters are very good condition except for a couple of impressions in the plastic overlay and they have obviously been round in a box for 34 years!

I know good used sets go for £60+ but im at a bit of a loss where to pitch these?

Ebay has sold sets new for £200! (In a worse state too) But these aren't complete as the cables are missing.

Any thoughts?

I'd stick them on in eBay for £200 with offers and see what happens.

It's *the* iconic piece of MTB kit so people will pay for them in pristine condition.

I don't do ebay.....stoped when they decided to become a "wild west" style bank! 😂 and stopped accepting PayPal for sellers.
