Amazingly varied competition this month and a very worthy winner, really classy.

On a personal note, who on earth voted for the Fire Mountain in amongst all that quality? Clearly must have been a most discerning individual.

T'was me. I was going to vote for Hairstream's vision of perfection but then, saw the Fire Mountain. What caught my eye was the age being the same as the Yeti. There is much less reason why the Kona should have survived. Premium brands and custum made goodness will usually be more cosseted and loved. The £349 old FM would have been used day in day out in all weathers by people like us BiTD. Yet here it is 20 years later taking the considerable forces Ed will be throwing at it. Bikes like that will never win but do I feel deserve a little recognition from time to time.
