Stans Crest 26" wheelset with tyres £225 £200 posted
- Pair of Stans Crest 26" wheels
- Stans hubs, HD front, 330 rear
- ZTR Crest rims
- DB spokes with alloy nipples
- Come with Maxxis Ignitor front and Ikon rear tires.
- Tubeless
Front hub has 20mm through axle end caps but can be converted easily to suit 15mm axle or traditional QR.
Rear hub is 135mm 9mm QR. Replacement axles available for 12mm through axle
Comes with HG alloy freehub body (Sram XD are available also).
Condition:
Both hubs have been fully serviced ready for sale with brand new stainless steel bearings. Freehub fully degreased and re built. Freehub body is a bit gouged but I have de-burred the splines ready for new cassette. Both wheels are straight and true. Spokes and hub flanges in perfect condition. Rim decals beginning to fade slightly. Tyres are pretty worn. Rear particularly but ok for summer XC riding. If racing or riding more demanding or wet terrain you will need new tyres. Rear rim had some scratches around valve hole where previous owner tightened valve with pliers.
Weight is circa 1450g without tyres so a impressively light wheelset.
Being Stans spares are readily available, as mentioned above bearings, end caps, axles, and freehub bodies are easily replaced to suit different axle and cassette options. (copy paste link: https://www.notubes.com/shop/accessories/3-30-hub-parts)
