20mm through axle to 9mm QR adaptors?

Re:

Not all 20mm hubs are 110. They've been around for years. My Hope's were 100 x 20mm on my spicy and the standard ones were 100mm

Ok like I said as far as I knew, I have or had 99 junior t, 00 bomber, 03 sc & dc shiver, 06 rc888, 06 & 08 Boxxer, 12 revelation, 15 argyle all with 20x110. Run with bigun, bulb, pro2, pro2evo and pro 4 hubs. Out of interest what hub/fork was it that you had that was 100x20?

This was in response to longun’s post above mine.

:) mine was in response to your previous posts about the fork.

I was talking about hubs too ;)

Ok but fork and hub go together so what was wrong with my comment, it’s still relevant info to the op isn’t it? I still don’t think a hub with a 20mm axle will fit in a qr “fork” as the hub (with 20mm end caps) will be too wide. Which answers the op’s question.

Longun believes that there are 20x100 hubs (and forks) I was simply giving him examples of my hubs and forks which are all 20x110.

the forks are 110mm spaced, but the hubs, especially hope and most others can be converted to 100 x 15mm, 10mm or 9mm with variety of adaptors. the hubs are mostly the same, the spacers are just wider, hence hope hubs can be easily adapted to fit 20 mm bolt through, boost and standard 100 etc.

:) this is where the confusion lies, the OP was asking if he could convert a hub from 20mm to 9mm, not if a 20mm hub would fit into a qr fork, obviously it would be incompatible for various reasons, but as has already been stated a 20mm hub can be converted to a 9mm and thus fit a qr fork ;)
