I have decided to sell my Klein as I don't ride it much anymore and need some money to finish my road bike.
For sale: 1997 Klein Attitude comp frame in burnt orange. Medium size. This was made in the original Klein factory in Chehalis, Washington although was post the Trek buyout, Gary Klein was still in charge.
It's 2.9lb of stiff, quick handling xc machine. Runs great with an 80mm fork.
I bought it from new.
There are a few signs of wear and tear as expected from a 16 year old bike that's been ridden a bit:
Scratches on chain stays and heel rub.
Down tube bottle boss insert spins. Seat tube inserts fine.
I have run a full cable outer through the frame for the back brake.
Included is the frame, bottom bracket (shimano square taper) and headset (cane creek). BB and headset were new 2 years ago.
Ideally I'd like £275.
For £300 I'll included the original Thomson Elite seat post.
