1993 Pantani-era fillet-brazed Walter Dosi in Columbus EL

Another of my pre-Brexit purchases from Italy... Walter Dosi frameset in fillet brazed Columbus EL. Dates from c.92/93 when Dosi provided frames to the Giacobazzi team Pantani rode for.

Nice paint and some subtle pantos, built it up neo-retro for a change with SRAM and Royce wheelset. Might not be for the retro purists but to be honest the price of decent condition Record 8spd is a bit disheartening these days

The chrome is a bit dull but it's a bit of tutti-frutti brightness and rides beautifully, definitely one of my favourite finds of late.

Cool bike, nice build. Some lovely paint details!
Enjoyed the link too, more cracking paint jobs. The crackle effect schemes are really effective.
