1988 Raleigh Randonneur, black, 54cm Sold

There are few others from which to make any comparison, so maybe I've got it wrong. Now asking for £150.

Bought new in 1988 (frame number 700398, receipt available). All original but for a cable or two, tyres and tubes, but see below re: pedals.

In need of a bit of TLC - some grazing damage to the cushion tape and saddle, paintwork is no longer pristine after 33 years, and the plating needs a good clean.

Full 531 ST tube set, Mavic M3CD black rims (fitted with 700x28c Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres), Shimano 18-speed indexed gears, Brooks pre-softened leather saddle, mudguards, Blackburn front and rear carriers, handlebar bag attachment, spare spokes, stand.
The Shimano pedals once had toeclips I couldn’t get on with, and which I removed long ago. I no longer have them, I’m afraid.

£150 ono. Collection near Woodstock, Oxfordshire.
