Very early Merida. Possibly the first year they put their name on a bike. Looks very much like Merida have rebadged a Univega Alpina Uno - same base colour, frame and fork that year for both models and Univega was manufactured by Merida.

Hubs, pedals & headset serviced with new bearings. Rear derailleur, brakes & shifters refurbished. No play in brake levers. Shifters index properly and can be switched to friction. No problems with any of the above - bike is silent and smooth running.

Additional NOS biopace 26t and 36t chainrings included as well as NOS Shimano straddle cable for ubrake. I also have the original handlebars - yours if you want ‘em. Original bottle cages in decent shape. Wald 137 basket, rack, bell and mudguards included.
