most of the maverick was carried straight over from the special edition 5 speed raleigh bomber. seat and post, crank, chain rings and bottom bracket, chrome rims, rear cassette, dérailleur, chain guard, U brakes, frame construction, head set, grips and end caps.

well i spotted it anyway, but then i am quite good at reading sarcasm as its usually me dishing it out :D

good point, they were the same filament bulbs in both so i just got a pair of 0.5w L.E.D, so thats option 2 i think! any colour you like as long as its gloss black :P

depending what the paint is (off the shelf brushed on stuff, or rattle can) "standard thinners" (cellulose) will wipe it off

as threatened, natty old ever ready lamps brought kicking and screaming into 2013 with some actual real life technology rationalising all the specifications the LED lamps are half the resistance, half the wattage, yet still 4 times amount of visible light (lumens) so should theoretically...

my bomber is 26tpi in that configuration, but then its not really a mountain bike, still not quite suire what it is :D

i think i remember a few of these in the sheds at school in the late 80s early 1990s, when MTB craze kinda gained momentum over bmx. or maybe i dont if its a later model, i'm not au fait with the time line. i had a SIS raleigh mustang at the time with similar snake skin splatter paint type...

if you have a friendly machine shop they could probably line bore down the seat tube and sort you right out.

i'm reading between the lines, are you saying 1/4" bolts holding slender seat stays to chain stay, horizontal drop outs, blades butt welded to the crown on the forks, might not be very durable :lol:
