Re: She is mine now. I believe it is a 1994. Last Friday, the owner re-listed the bike on craigslist. This time, he labelled it a "Kona Hybrid". The only original parts left on the bike was the headset and front derailleur. Everything else was replaced with mid to lower level components...

You're fine. You just have to switch the brake pads (left/right) for use in front.

That is just a beautiful bike. It's a shame I'll probably never get to see one of these in real life. I don't think may retro Orange bikes made it to here in Canada.

I've read that it was Kona themselves, who stated that this was the worst bike they ever made. Does anyone know why they think that?

The tyres are WTB Vulpine SL, folding bead. They're pretty light - 480gms.

Kona Race Light Velocity stem: 1 1/8", 110mm, threaded = 260gms Race Light seat post: 27.0 mm x 350mm = 285gms

Re: The P2 wins. It makes the bike even more agile (it handled very well already). It suits the bike perfectly. The colour even matches stem. Plus, the bike is over 700 lighter, now.
