Ooh ok thats good to here. I cant find any actual shimano ones but SJS cycles have some TA omes. Are these any good? Back in the day i recall Blackspire were the go to replacements but they seem thin on the ground at this size in the uk now.

Hello, Im looking to get my old Giant ATX Team mtb out the shed and back into use this year but it needs new chainrings. Its got a 1999 XT chainset with 5 bolts - think its called a m570-5 or similar. Does anyone still make good quality replacement chainrings as all the new ones seem to be 4...

Re: You might fimd it easier to find a set of first gen mavic kysirium wheels (without the scalloped bit between spokes) The USPS team were using these if i recall.

Re: Sadly this was the end of my otherwise (at the time) perfect Trek 5500 OCLV. Over time the adhesive bonding the metal threaded shell into the carbon had become detached with a knackered bottom bracket stuck in it. I dont think it would take too much force on an old carbon frame to cause...

Re: My preference would be for a Cannondale Caad 4 / 5 or a Principia Rex with an anodised finish. The era of oversized aluminium tubes with traditional horizontal top tube geometry (before bikes went ugly)

Re: Painted it yourself!!!!! It looks amazing. I assume you have some professional spraying background and didnt just pop into halfords for some tins of spray and get lucky? Can you add some info on how you got it like that please?

Re: I have an ambrosio 9 speed shimano tooth spacing cassette with a campagnolo splined body on my old campag kysyriums i run with a shimano groupset. Would something like this be easier than sanding spacers down? Edit to add that i just googled it and they only seem to do ten speed campag...
