Edit - Sachs freehub compatibility / replace bearing in free

Hi there, I haven’t posted on here in a while but have a question that I’m hoping the retrobike hive mind can help with. I’ve got some wheels I bought from someone on here a few years ago and the rear freehub has seen better days / it’s got side to side play in the end of it. Wheels are Mavic...

Magura yellow brake boost for HS33s

As above - I have a set of hs33's that don't have the brake booster with them. After a yellow one in an ideal world but would consider other colours. Don't want to spend too much though - I could have bought some modern disc brakes cheaper than the hs33's have set me back!

Kona U'Hu 97 / 98 for sale - as a whole or may consider spli

Hi there, having recently taken delivery of a new Boardman Pro Fs 650b (I love it), my Kona U'Hu is no longer needed. I bought it a couple of years ago to see if I would get back into mountain biking, and in the last 4 months I've caught the bug again. The spec: * Easton Elite frame with...

Kona U'hu - cracked frame - sell in bits or as one?

Hi there, I'm only recently on here as I have got back into mountain biking with a Kona U'hu I got from ebay a few years ago. I bought a new shock for it last month as the one on it was quite dead (although someone still bought it on ebay as non-working). I've noticed a small crack on the rear...

Kona U'HU (1998) dead rear shock - alternatives?

Hi there, I'm new to the forum. Discovered it whilst searching for info about the bike I've got. I bought it on ebay about 3 years ago now, but haven't really used it much. Got back into mountain biking the last couple of weeks and loving it. The shock has always been a bit iffy (a Fox Alps 5R)...
