I am looking to re build some retro wheels and trying to work out what spoke lengths I need, I have tried using a spoke calc and coming up with 300mm using a metal tape and eyeing it in, sounds about right but pretty hap hazard! wondering if there is anyone with better expertise that can help...

ok so im on my first retro refurb and I need to know whether I have a freehub or cassette? it is a 5 speed late 70's bike. I know I need to remove the toothed nut, do I need a special tool or will a normal cassette removal tool work? thanks

I have just starting restoring a 1970's race bike. I want to polish up the brakes, levers stem etc. What does anyone use for this? Do I need special polish and tools or is there an old trick with household items I can use such as tinfoil on chrome etc? Thanks

I have just been given this 80's road bike. I have no idea what it is. im looking to strip it down and spray it up but don't want to go ruining it if its worth anything. the head badge appears to be ctc, and the only frame sticker is 'road speed 10' on the top tube. any help appreciated, thanks
