...and I was sat just along from Captaincosmic Great evening - amazed they don't seem to get bored of telling stories that they must have told a hundred times before. We loved the stories, of course. I got a signed copy of the book, which I've started to read - really interesting and well written.

Re: never done it, but if it's 55 miles as it says over rough and strenuous terrain you're looking at a 12 hour ride at least. Good luck!

Putting together my lad's bike, just need some P2's, steerer 150mm threaded or longer ahead (don't mind which). Or some other rigid forks, prefer straight rather than curved. Got any in polished aluminium? So much the better! Not looking to spend mega £ cheers :D
