Continued saga of the Pelissier hub!!!!!

Hi, Finally got some cones to fit the p1001 hubs and they are running very well for such old items. Still struggling with fitting a five speed freewheel though! The ones I have tried will screw on to within a few mill of the end of the threading but no further. Have tried an english threaded...

    HUB / FREEWHEEL ISSUE.

Looks like english thread for freewheel but a bit tight as cogs reach the edge of the hub so may need to have the thread chased out again. My LBS [who never throws anything out!] found some nice cones for rear hub but had no joy with the smaller ones for the front. Any ideas of a possible...

    HUB / FREEWHEEL ISSUE.

The skewer nuts are mainly polished metal but there is a small nylon bush fitted internally which acts to prevent the main nut simply spinning off when not locked...if that makes sense. Something like a nylock nut.

    HUB / FREEWHEEL ISSUE.

Holes in the hub flanges are even and oval/round. The lable on the hubs is gold edged in black, rectangular, with pelissier in lower case and a 'bird' logo. Any idea what the thread for the free wheel will be?

    HUB / FREEWHEEL ISSUE.

Got a nice pair of high flange hubs for my old Bob Jackson. Hubs are engraved PELISSIER and have skewers marked P1001. The OLN of the rear is 120 / 122. What is the likely threading [French / BS]? What freewheel were they intended for, 5,6 or less? Many thanks for any well informed responses.

    VINTAGE TUBS REPLACEMENTS?

Just got a 1984 Jackson with its original Wolber tubs! They look great but are not up to serious riding in OS events. What would those in the know recommend as a suitable replacement which would not be out of place on the sprint wheels? Will keep the Wolbers for display purposes!!!!

    Help requested - Roe frame

To my knowledge only Phil built frames. Not sure what Derek did but at present he is doing a bit of mechanicing at a LBS. He still puts in some mean performances in time trials.

    Help requested - Roe frame

Didn't ride the stuff in the parks but did plenty of tt on Skirlaugh, mainly in the Ten League. We still use Driffield courses but they are much modified these days. Lund 10 now runs opposite way with a rounabout turn near Beverley and no dead turn at Lund cross roads. Ah the good old days...
