hi i just picked up a trek 6000 frame from my local carbooty, sadly it been painted badly. i'm hoping to respray it my self and rebuild it, so what i'm after is the original spec of the equipment that was on it in the day ,and also is the marble effect like dribbled black paint from a paint...

hi. all i'm going to say is if it took a car to a repair centre say for a front end smack you would expect it back with in a week or two, so 7 months to replace a top tube and get a seized bb out and a basic respray seems a bit long really. cheers dave

hi guys just had a idea to run internal brake tube for the rear brake doe's anyone know where i can buy this from. oh by the way the bike is been striped for repairs so i thought i do this while it's like this. cheers dave

autosole is good for bringing up alloy you can get it from your local motorist centre. cheers dave

if you stripping it why don't you have the brake cross member brazed lower so you can use a 700c wheel. i had it done years ago on a claude butler elan in the late 80's. cheers dave
