    Your favourite tyre

Re: Onza porcupines are top of my list closely followed by conti cross-country 1.5s and megabites. Got a set of fire xc pros in the cupboard for the next build, but don't know what they'll be like to ride. Worst tyres are the hutchinson pythons I got on my giant nrs, damn things puncture for a...

    Interesting concept

Re: Tried something like that once but the ride was so wooden. Wonder if the seller has twigged that he needs to tree-t himself to a new shock, that current setup isn't even a basic leaf-spring. Yew wood have to hit a bump pretty hard to get any flex out of that. The tow-hitch had me stumped...

    Frightening Litespeed Obed

'The petals are cheap and not worth mentioning' if the petals are not worth mentioning why bother... It isn't an ad for a flower shop.

Re: Ah, yep... That saddle's set up at a real sack-tickling angle - no way I can un-see that. Love the frame couplings on the top and down tubes though. Perhaps the owner likes really twitchy steering?

Re: That's a blast from my past - first proper mountain bike I owned was a purple haze Tequesta (got nicked) and I've never seen one for sale since. Where are you based for collection mate?

Shame it's not the 91 'team' – that's proving to be my unicorn bike.

92' Rocky Mountain.....FINISHED trail pics added..

    Ebay - FAIL!

With the angle that seat's at, I'm thinking that's one odd-looking human specimen that owns it. Probably selling cause it doesn't handle very well :? Honestly, it's a wonder these individuals ever learned how to breathe

Suntour XC Pro vs. XC Comp-crankset differences?

fairly sure the XC Pros are drop-forged, where as the XC Comps were the usual forging (castings) or something like that – pretty sure there was a difference in the way they were constructed that favoured the Pros anyway. Pros are beautifully finished too

There's only two now – the same two that I've wanted for years but which, unfortunately, never seem to turn up • 91 GT Avalanche Team in Midnight Aurora paint • Mantis XCR Small wishes, but they keep a man going :D
