Hi Close, but that's probably too low for what I want. If I have to, I would rather go up than down - maybe then a 140mm 15°. If it is a Cattlehead then I may also run into problems with the bar clamp which I think is quite wide on that stem, and may overlap the ends of the shim on my Titec...

If your 970 is from 1994 - 1996 then it's worth trying VeloCals. Their 970 decal is here: http://www.velocals.com/servlet/the-199/1994-dsh-95-TREK-970-ZX/Detail. I think Trek used the same style decals from 94 to 96 but with different colours. And they also do the matching True Temper...
