1995 Rocky mountain Altitude build thread. Updated July 10th.

Just popping in to see how this is going :)

Looking good, also sound like you might need a second frame now... 😂

Edit, check your chainrings, the middle ring, at least, is not in the correct orientation, the tab in the inner circle should be under the arm, is helps align all the ramps and pins and cutaways and vitally the logos and text.

Good catch Fluffy, yes, on my second look I noticed also that the large pin on the outside of the outer ring should be directly behind the arm so the chain cannot land deep between the rings and arm during an over shift, also, the inner chainring bolts should be longer so they reach just shy of flush with the aluminum spider outer surface, looks like they are only grabbing half of available threads?

Beautiful gold Turbines 😍

Yes. All of you are right. But I don't find a middle ring so I bought a "road" FSA one, with no ramps and reduced teeth ( I will do some manual work here with my Dremel). And when I installed it whith big ring, when I had all bolts placed I see the pin not under the arm. Because I still have to do a fine adjustment, I let this way at the moment. Where can I find a reasonable price middle ring? I only found some on Ebau¡y at 60-80 € !

You can find rings for that crankset everywhere. Try bikecomponents, a german site. That pin prevents chain falling/ jamming between big ring and crank arm. It´s a must do.

But I want RACEFACE ring from this series. Black and machined tooth area. IS ths that easy? I'll check....
Yes, I know that pin, but after 10 years of not using triplex, I went too fast and then I was lazy to reinstall it well. I'll have time....

Much cooler to have rings mixed and matched from other manufacturers there.

An update. I need a longer steering tube and a handlebar for mag 21 (on process). Headset its incomplete and it need spacers. But not steerer enough now. I installed it to sef how it's looks like. I think Mag21 match pretty well. Ringle repro gold stix its a little green, im bot convinced. And tyres are not definitive ( they come with wheels). I'm sorry, pics maybe are too bright due to Barcelona sunny spring!! Opinions please!
