Cranks are 87 mm'ish BCD, dont know if that is compact or normal....

Price of the XTR is pretty nice I think....:)

to me standard is about 65 mm from on hole to the next (center to center) on the drive arm ( like your XTR)
and compact is about 58 mm from one hole to the next

it impact the diameter of the circle that is formed by all the fixation holes of the ring so 110 I believe in standard.
but I prefer to use the one hole to the next as you cannot be wrong on the measure because the 110 cannot be measured on the crank themselves.

By the way same question for the Cook cranks ;)

Just before I confirm do these require "special" XTR chain rings or are they standard :?

Sorry missed this one, the outer rings is also doing its work as spider so the middle has to be attached to that one.
