Bought this with the sole intention of trying fixed gear bikes. If it wasn't my thing then I could easily split it as there are some really nice parts. The wheels are pretty special, and I've never seen a proper fixed Hope hub with a Titanium sprocket, and the rims have never had a brake near them. Well anyway, I can't stand fixed gear - bloody awful.
I must point out that this is exactly as I bought it a few weeks back. So really, it was someone else's dream.
I have a set of mint Middleburn hubs and 117 ceramic rims, plus almost a full XTR M900 groupset knocking around that can go on it instead. There are some Ritchey forks too, but I'd like a straight fork really, more like the original spec.
Most people will look at the repair on the downtube and shriek with horror, but that weld is just fine. I like the frame a lot, and it has some really nice little features, and I'm led to believe there aren't too many about.
