Looked it up and you're right. The town is SALINA, and it is apparently still a ghost town.

Salida is still no metropolis. The guy who runs the shop is just dedicated. I also forgot to mention he rolled my FRO in right next to a mint, nearly NOS 82 Stumpjumper. It was pretty unbelievable.

Ah ha!

So THAT's where that Sling got to...

It was painted at Grove's by Tommy in Glowing Nuclear Lizard...one of the few non-Grove frames to receive that finish.

Have caught threads about it here and there for years but never knew where it ended up.
