Okay, no Switchblades then! What's wrong with them btw ? I read somewhere that they're quite harsh.
I think that the custom ti fork is out too (it's pricey also 200€+++).
I do have a Specialized DirectDrive fork available and it resembles Ritchey Logic quite a lot. But I think it would be better suited on my S-Works Carbon and I could take the FSX off it and use the FSX with Merlin. Since the FSX is '94, it would be period correct too.
Had an leading offer for Ritchey Logic fork on mtb-news.de forum but realized that the steerer was 1,4cm too short so I had to withdraw my offer. :cry:
Of course a Pace (RC30/31/35) is a possibility too.
I want the Merlin to be very subtle, so no purple or turquoise parts with this one (I reserved the Rain Forest Adroit for that!). Just plain black, silver and titanium.
To not have too much grey in the bike, I guess that the normal black w/ tan wall tyres are better suited than the Umma Gummas...
