I've got a plain Ti stem and have just discovered a small crack this morning where the weld goes for the bars (can't get it to show in a pic and pic makes the stem look in much worse shape than it is). Don't think it's safe to ride but if you want to repair (?) or for a show bike that you'd like to add a bit of Ti to?
Details - 1 1/8th, 11cm long, little bit of rise but not much
