baj Senior Retro Guru Jul 1, 2010 #27 in ref to the quill stem diameter Qs, isn't the 1" or 1 1/8" measurements the external diameters of the fork steerer tubes? So a 25.4mm diameter quill would fit inside a 1 1/8" threaded steerer tube and the 22.2mm fit inside a 1" threaded steerer??
