The Ibis totally does it for me. Truly a time capsule.

Honorable mentions to the Gazelle and the "been to Hades and back and lived to tell the tales" Funk.

Got to be Maksters Overbury's for me. Mainly because after seeing Panorama last night I feel we need to focus on some of Bristol's strengths!

Plus I have got Ti exotica overload - time for some good, honest, local, steel frame building! ;)

thought this would be hard.... very hard .......... until I saw the GROVE, made it all seem easy again :D

Hard to choose from so many good bikes - I love the Reactor for its cartoony looks, and the Ti Phoenix is pretty near the top of my list of bikes I'd love to own plus I know it gets raced so it earns extra kudos there in my book. I've owned both a Team USA Attitude and a nickel-plate P7 so there's nostalgia value there, but in the end I have to pick Shamus' Pulse, it's beautiful and subtle and looks like it would be a blast to ride and though it's not really important I just love the name of that paint scheme!

Grove gets my vote...with a close second to Shamus' Pulse. Both of them are very fine builds and I wouldn't change a thing on either.

Eastcoaststeve's Fat is very nice too, but the single ring thing doesn't work for me on a Fat, and the Reactor is a bad-ass looking piece, but I have trouble putting my shoulder and my vote behind something that I'm convinced would need to be carried off the trail in a sling if it was actually used.

Still...WOW...4 bikes that really catch my eye!...this IS a VERY good month for the retro crowd. Take a bow! :D

What a pleasant suprise....to see the poll up, and my Wicked actually received a few votes against such beautiful bikes...what a fantastic selection of entries.

Knowing that the Wicked was as ugly as sin, and in truely horrible condition when it arrived in my hands, and now seeing it alongside such beauties makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. The sweat, grease, and busted knuckles were certainly worth it. :D .

Cheers,

Steve
