OS map is recommended but not required. So bugger that!

Was wondering about the trail first aid kit myself though... I've got a a basic first aid kit in my camelback, plasters, wipes, bandage, amputation buzz-saw, etc. Hopefully that'll suffice.

If I can get it assembled in time, I'll be on the ex-velo, and soon to be ex-gazz '90 Stumpie, though it will be a bitsa. I did the online entry thingy - this should ensure my attendance so as I don't waste my money :roll:

Cant finance my entry till payday, also I think I'll do the entry on the day bit, thus if i'm no fit through ME i'll no have spent money I'll no get back. :roll:

Trek 8500 is my race bike but I'll fit some 2.3" wide tyres to make up for the severe lack of suspension. I think the frames got clearance :?

I'll scooter down, its 69miles door to door for me so not a major trek
