I did for a second think about trying SS as I used to do a lot of time trials on a fixed wheel, loved the light weight and simplicity. But, I dont think I would like it off road, so am sticking to the geared option

Ok, yeah, black LX would be a good second best to that

Might not be all that much of a budget bike though, unless you make it a budget project and just post a wanted for cheap black parts!
