i just serviced my amp f2 fork by myself and i was amazed by how easy and simple it was to: disassemble the whole fork, change the oil in the damping piston, replace the spring with a brand new one and put it all back together.

i paid for the fork 140 euros and another 10$ for the spring so around 150 euros

mighty Google provided me with this step by step tutorial on how to change the oil inside the piston (http://www.desperadocycles.com/AMP_Shock_Treatment.htm) and after 40 minutes, my fork was as good as new!

these forks weight 1.2kg's(1kg for the f3 xc) , are easy to service , work amazingly well and still they are not produced anymore...what a pity!

cheers

Alecs
