I know it's over - and that Kona's have won (and deservedly so) - but I do think the cool wall should work in finer increments than brands as a whole.

Yes that means it would take longer to populate, but whatever - I don't think any of us begrudge time spent arguing over old bikes!

My call would be, stick Kona Explosif's from say 92 to 94 on the wall as being cool, others to follow at later dates!

Blinkin flip - see my earlier thread about the "breakdown" issue:

Are the crank bolts on my 1993 Cindercone cool? Maybe I should break the whole bike down into components too? Maybe I should dissassemble the seatpost and determine whether the first bolt holding the saddle is more cooler than the rear...????

The next topic is "purple is cool or not cool" - Using the logic you stipulate we could have a section for purple bolts, and say a section for purple Pace fork crowns...the wall will be packed solid and defeats the object I say...
