Mavic rim and hub ID

Picked up a bike from a former Tomac mechanic and it had mismatched wheels. This particular wheel has a Mavic precision sealed hub with stout 28H box section rim with a huge machined braking surface. Both have the wording "Product reserve esssais Validation en cours" laser etched into them. Anybody seen anything like these or happen to know what models they might have become when the product was released to the market?

The rim measures 22mm across the top and the sidewall braking surface measures 17mm...huge braking surface.

They look awesome, never seen or heard of them before...a possible predecessor to the Cross Max perhaps?

Origional CrossMaxx has a 17mm braking surface and is 23.4mm wide.
This is a front. I'm sure the rear was the same with the exception of the holes on the rear being 28 and the front 26.

From trying to do a translation it looks like these are prototypes (pre production validating on course) so probably crossmax prototypes :!: :!:
